Personaggio storico del jazz italiano, nel 1951 fonda la Milan College Hazz Society, conquistandosi in breve tempo una notevole fama che lo porterą a essere considerato uno dei migliori baritonsassofonisti d'Europa
Nella sua lunga attivitą ha partecipato a pił di 3500 concerti in ogni parte d'Europa, Stati Uniti, Sud America, Medio Oriente e Africa. Ha preso parte a tutti i pił importanti festival italiani e stranieri e a numerosissime sedute discografiche.Tra gli altri si ricordano: Louis Amstrong, Sidney Bechet, A.Nicholas, M.Mezzrow, J.Newman, B.Bigard, H.S.Edison, J.McPartland, Joe Venuti, B.Butterfield, Sir C.Thompson, E.Warren, B.Freeman, E.Miller,Ganuts Hucko, Tony Scott, , Toots Tielemans, Gerry Mulligan, Lee Konitz, Albert Mangelsdorf, M.Melillo....
He started to play in 1951 founding the Milan College jazz Society and immediately he became a very appreciated soloist in Italy and Europe. During his so durable activity he participated at more than 3500 concerts all across Italy, Europe, United States, South America, East Orient and Africa becoming a very appreciated soloist in Italy and Europe.
