Considerato in assoluto uno dei migliori trombettisti mondiali , consegue il diploma presso il Conservatorio "G. Verdi" di Torino a soli 15 anni. Nel 2000 viene eletto miglior nuovo talento italiano al "top referendum jazz ".Nel 1993 vince l'audizione per l'orchestra del "Paese degli Specchi" di Bologna, con la quale ha poi svolto attivitā concertistica sotto la direzione di: George Russell, Mike Gibbs, Kenny Wheeler, Dave Liebman, Carla Bley, Steve Coleman.
Nel dicembre 1997 č stato chiamato dalla Carnagie Hall Big Band diretta da Jon Faddis come sostituto prima di Randy Brecker e poi di Lew Soloff per quattro concerti del tour italiano. Musicista di statura mondiale compare in molte pubblicazioni Abeat.

Van de Geyn, Steve Lacy.On December '97 he was asked by the "CARNEGIE HALL BIG BAND" to performe during their Italian tour.
