Si č diplomato con il massimo dei voti in strumenti a percussione sotto la guida di Franco Campioni presso il Conservatorio G. Verdi di Milano, dove ha anche studiato composizione e conseguito il diploma di pianoforte. Svolge unintensa attivitā come vibrafonista Jazz suonando ed incidendo con numerosi artisti di fama internazionale quali P. Fresu, E. Rava, D. Moroni, F. Dicastri, M. Negri, G. Gaslini, L. Schneider, P. Favre, D. Friedman, P. McCandless, B. Elgart, ed esibendosi in importanti Festival quali Umbria Jazz e Roccella Jonica. Ha effettuato tournč negli Stati Uniti, Messico, Africa ed Estremo Oriente. Ha al suo attivo numerose incisioni discografiche per le etichette Splash ed Egea ed ha recentemente inciso, in duo con Luca Gusella, per letichetta americana Obliqsound. Attualmente č docente di strumenti a percussione presso il Conservatorio G.Verdi di Milano.
He graduated with honours in percussion instruments under the direction of Franco Campioni at the ''Giuseppe Verdi'' Conservatoire of Milan, where he also studied composition and graduated in piano. He specialised in vibraphone with David Friedman.
He has performed as soloist with the Angelicum Orchestra of Milan, the Orchestra of the Conservatoire of Graz, the Milan Orchestra of RAI (Italian National Broadcasting Company), the Symphony Orchestra of Sanremo and O.D.A.I.(Italian String Orchestra).
He has played and recorded with internationally known artists as, among others, P. Fresu, E. Rava, F. Dicastri, M. Negri, G. Gaslini, L. Schneider, P. Favre, D. Friedman, P. McCandless, B. Elgart, Reggie Johnson, Alvin Quinn.
He has been invited to some important jazz festivals such as Umbria Jazz and Roccella Jonica.
