La Mamo’s Band è una poliedrica formazione che si muove nell’ambito del pop rock italiano con alla guida Massimo “Mamo” Pedrani. “Mamo o non M’amo” titolo ispirato al soprannome del capofila Massimo Pedrani, autore dei testi…) è frutto della volontà di artisti e musicisti tutti di provenienza diversa e confluiti con l’idea di di realizzare un prodotto discografico originale per soggetti, parole e musica. Nasce così un disco dai testi mai scontati e poeticamente cantautorali, narrati su musiche dall’ampio ventaglio stilistico, nel quale la matrice pop viene piacevolmente contaminata dal jazz, dal blues e dal prog rock anni ’70.
La vasta partecipazione di strumentisti e cantanti che si dipanano all’intero dell’album conferisce una unicità e sorprendente varietà stilistica e sonora. Al di fuori dagli schemi!
The Mamo’s Band is a multifaceted formation that moves in the field of Italian pop rock led by Massimo “Mamo” Pedrani. “Mamo o non M’amo”, title inspired by the nickname of the leader Massimo Pedrani, author of the lyrics …) is the result of the will of artists and musicians all from different origins with the idea of creating an original record product for subjects, words and music. Thus was born a disc with never predictable and poetically songwriting lyrics, narrated on music with a wide stylistic range, in which the pop matrix is pleasantly contaminated by jazz, blues and 70’s prog rock.
The vast participation of instrumentalists and singers that unfold throughout the album gives it a unique and surprising stylistic and sound variety. Outside the box!
