Un trio giovane ma affiatatissimo, già messosi in luce vincendo il recentissimo concorso “Padova Porshe Festival Jazz Giovani”, suscitando un grande scalpore tra gli addetti ai lavori. Ne hanno già parlato infatti tutte le principali riviste di settore. Questa realizzazione per Abeat Records rappresenta il loro esordio discografico.
La formazione dimostra di saper approcciare il materiale musicale in maniera compatta e di dare una direzione univoca e diretta al suono complessivo.
La musica introspettiva e passionale, frutto corale di tre forti personalità estetiche unite da un comune senso del rischio e dell’invenzione scorre fluida e senza cedimenti. Tutti e tre i musicisti partecipano in maniera attiva alla creazione del repertorio con propri brani.
Una musica coinvolgente che, se da una parte riflette sonorità jazzistiche care a Bill Evans e Paul Bley, dall’altra ricerca sonorità e tessiture vicine alla musica cosiddetta colta di matrice extra-jazzistica, con particolare riferimento alla musica contemporanea europea.
Ne consegue un progetto di forte valenza artistica, intensa carica emotiva e soprattutto di indubbia originalità. Un trio che, ne siamo sicuri, farà parlare molto di sé.
A young but very united trio, that distinguished itself as a winner of the late “Padova Porsche Festival Jazz Giovani” (a Jazz Contest for young musicians in Padua, Italy). They have caused a sensation among the connoisseurs, having thence been reviewed by the main specialised press.
This CD with Abeat Records is their debut. The group shows harmony when dealing with music and is able to give a univocal and straight direction to its global sound.
Their music springs from three strong personalities, which share the same sense of risk and invention. Introspective and passionate, it flows without breaking up.
The three musicians take part actively in the creation, everyone with his own pieces.
This evocative music on one hand recalls the jazz resonances which are typical of Bill Evans and Paul Bley, on the other it approaches the so-called Ocultivated, non-jazz music, and particularly the contemporary European music.
The result is a project with a strong artistic value, an intense emotional power and, above all, undoubtedly original. This trio will certainly get itself talked about.
