Claudio Fasoli continua a mietere successi di pubblico e critica: recente vincitore del Top Referendum Jazz in Italia come “artista dell’anno”, reduce da una significativa affermazione sul mercato francese e Giapponese, con la rivista Jazz Magazine che ha votato il suo recente disco “Selfie” (ABJZ189), come “disco shock del mese”. Claudio Fasoli is one of the most famous and universally appreciated Italian artist thanks to his frequent and constant collaborations with supermusicians on the international scene. Here too we find him alongside American heavyweights in classic quintet: Ralph Alessi, Matt Mitchell, Drew Gress, Nasheet Waits. Fasoli continues to reap public and critical success: recent winner of the “Top Referendum Jazz” (the main italian award) as “artist of the year”, returning from a significant affirmation on the French market with his recent album “Selfie” always published by Abeat Records (ABJZ189), where the prestigious transalpine magazine Jazzmagazine has labeled it as “disco shock”, disc of the mounth. Artistic figure certainly of extra-national caliber with a monumental history that from the mythical Perigeo band (with Franco D’Andrea, Giovanni Tommaso and Bruno Biriaco) to today speaks for itself, Fasoli gives us another umpteenth pearl with high-profile compositions and immense musicians.
