\nPer la prima volta si cimenta in una classica operazione di rilettura di brani altrui. Per farlo sceglie un repertorio atipico, quello dei mitici Procol Harum, la band inglese che a cavallo degli anni sessanta e settanta port\u00f2 all\u2019 attenzione del pubblico mondiale alcune canzoni che ormai fanno parte del nostro immaginario collettivo. Il riferimento va immediatamente e soprattutto a \u201cA Whiter Shade of Pale\u201d, in Italia pi\u00f9 conosciuta come \u201c senza luce \u201d( Mogol ed i Dik Dik ) oppure ad \u201cHomburg\u201d pi\u00f9 nota come \u201cl\u2019ora dell\u2019amore\u201d ( Camaleonti), oppure a \u201cSalty Dog\u201d e ancora \u201cSomething\u2019s following me\u201d ed molti altri\u2026
\nPer portare a compimento questo disco Zambrini si avvale dell\u2019apporto del contrabbassista Di Biase che ha studiato jazz presso la Guildhall School di Londra e del batterista britannico Jon Scott. Una sorta di filo conduttore caratterizza questo disco : la sensibilit\u00e0 tipicamente italiana di Zambrini trae ulteriore ispirazione dal clima per cos\u00ec dire britannico creato dalla ritmica cos\u00ec come forse non si pu\u00f2 dimenticare che anche i Procol Harum trassero molti spunti dai loro soggiorni italiani e divennero a loro volta motivo di ispirazione per altre band nostrane.\"\"Antonio Zambrini is esteemed one of the best italian composer. The last three recordings by Antonio Zambrini , \u201cQuartetto\u201d, \u201cDue colori\u201d and \u201cMusica\u201d ( all by Abeat records ) have been of great success either in critics and sales all around many countries. It\u2019s the first time that Antonio Zambrini is recording some songs by other people\u2019s.
\nTo do that he choose the repertoire of Procol Harum, the band from England who, during the \u201860 and \u201970 years, created some very well known songs all over the world such as \u201cA Whiter Shade of Pale\u201d, \u201cHomburg\u201d, \u201cSalty Dog\u201d, \u201cSomething\u2019s following me\u201d and many more\u2026
\nElegance of touch, accurate care of choosing notes, deep but peaceful improvisation, predilection of intimate situations, makes Antonio one of the most original pianist of the Italian scene. In this Cd Zambrini has been supported by the doublebass player Andrea Di Biase , who studied at the Guildhall School of London and by the English drummer Jon Scott.
