Questo disco rappresenta la prosecuzione di quel progetto.<\/p>\nUn cast stellare per un progetto pensato ed articolato nei dettagli : Dado Moroni al pianoforte, Riccardo Fioravanti al contrabbasso, Andrea Dulbecco al vibrafono e marimba e la coppia Enzo Zirilli e Stefano Bagnoli alla batteria e percussioni.
\nA Tom Harrell, musicista che gi\u00e0 faceva parte dell’ensemble e che da molti viene considerato uno dei trombettisti pi\u00f9 rappresentativi della scena jazz degli ultimi decenni, si aggiunge Bob Mintzer, sassofonista punto di riferimento internazionale sia per le sue qualit\u00e0 di musicista e didatta che per le qualit\u00e0 di arrangiatore.
\nTutti i musicisti firmano almeno un brano ad eccezione di un paio di standard.
\nUna peculiarit\u00e0 dell’organico \u00e8 rappresentata dalla presenza di due batteristi.

“The Cube” was a collective project, featuring original compositions by some of Italy’s most creative musicians including Dado Moroni (piano), Riccardo Fioravanti (doublebass), Andrea Dulbecco (vibraphone and marimba), Stefano Bagnoli and Enzo Zirilli (drums & percussion),
\nadding Tom Harrell, who has been a member of the ensemble for several years, and Bob Mintzer, a saxophone player well known in all over the world.
\nAside from the two standards on the album, all of the compositions are original. Each of the musicians contributed at least one tune, which speaks to the ideals of creative collaboration and group interplay that are the hallmarks of this project.
\nThe unusual but welcome presence of two drummers is underlined by the addition of rhythmic motifs and grooves that set the stage for soaring themes of extraordinary lyrical impact.
