\nLuigi Di Nunzio rappresenta l’ennesima sorpresa che scaturisce dalla straordinaria realt\u00e0 napoletana. Certamente \u00e8 uno dei maggiori talenti italiani dell’ultima decade. Sassofonista dalle qualit\u00e0 straordinarie che non \u00e8 sfuggito all’orecchio attento e sopraffino persino di Joe Lovano. Nel precedente disco per Abeat Records (“Inexistent” ABJZ533) al fianco di colossi internazionali come Antonio Fara\u00f2, Jane Jackson e Darryl Hall) aveva dato sfoggio di tecnica eccellente e perfetta padronanza del linguaggio swing, ora Di Nunzio con questo suo nuovo lavoro segna gi\u00e0 una svolta nella sua pur recente carriera. “The Game” \u00e8 infatti basato su un sound estremamente moderno con forti influenze derivate dalla musica elettronica e frutto di 4 anni di sperimentazioni, collaborazioni ed esperienze in generi musicali come l’hip hop, il rap, la musica elettronica. Ne \u00e8 scaturito uno stile anche compositivo nuovo ed inedito, ed il titolo del disco, “The Game”, riassume questo gioioso percorso.

\nLuigi Di Nunzio represents the umpteenth surprise that springs from the extraordinary Neapolitan reality. Certainly it is one of the greatest Italian talents of the last decade. Saxophonist with extraordinary qualities that has not escaped the attentive and overpowering ear even of Joe Lovano. In the previous album for Abeat Records (“Inexistent” ABJZ533), alongside international giants such as Antonio Fara\u00f2, Jane Jackson and Darryl Hall) he had shown excellent technique and perfect mastery of the swing language, now Di Nunzio, with his new work, already marks a turning point in his recent career. “The Game” is based on an extremely modern sound with strong influences derived from electronic music and the result of 4 years of experimentation, collaborations and experiences in musical genres such as hip hop, rap, electronic music. The result was a new and unprecedented compositional style, and the title of the album, The game, sums up this joyful journey.
