Il quartetto “Icefire”, affronta questa sfida in maniera superba inserendo un fitto contrappunto di sax e tromba che realizzano una trama melodico\/armonico vincente, creando un sound particolare sorretto da un solido supporto ritmico, denso di swing e colorato da assoliefficacissimi. Standards della storia del jazz si alternano con composizioni di Gledison Zabote e Cesare Mecca con grande spontaneit\u00e0.

Buon ascolto!”\"\"Piano-less band, without harmonic support, is a choice that can often hide pitfalls and is certainly not one of the most popular ones. The Icefire quartet faces this challenge in a superb way by inserting a dense counterpoint of sax and trumpet that create a winning melodic\/harmonic plot, creating a marvellous sound supported by a solid rhythmic support, dense with swing and colored by very effective solos. Standards of jazz history alternate with compositions by Gledison Zabote and Cesare Mecca with great spontaneity.
