Almost four years after the cd ” L’anima delle cose” comes out “Crocevia”, the fourth cd by harmonica player Max De Aloe. After the five-year experience of the Max De Aloe Quartet with Gianni Coscia, which has seen in addition to the realization of many concerts in important festivals and above all the creation of two CDs (both made for Abeat), this new MAX DE ALOE QUARTET CROCEVIA is born, whose name it also gives life to the new cd, “Crocevia”. Accompanying the harmonica player (who in this work also uses live electronics and the accordion in two pieces), in addition to the irreplaceable drummer Stefano Bagnoli, two other European jazz greats: guitarist Bebo Ferra and double bass player Riccardo Fioravanti. The cd reflects, as rarely happens, a choral work where songs by all four musicians are played as well as songs by Kenny Wheeler, Ennio Morricone and Carlos Gardel. What is striking is the game of invention in the juxtaposition of sounds, of the melody exposed in a never elementary but wonderfully cantabile way. The sound suspended between psychedelic echoes and the warm sounds of woods and reeds in combinations that seem difficult but which in this CD surprise for their original alchemy.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]

[3159,2598,2626,2674,2579
2628
