Il repertorio \u00e8 di quelli capaci di spaventare chiunque, motivi come \u201cGod bless the child\u201d o come \u201cMy funny Valentine\u201d, portati alle stelle da tante storiche registrazioni, ma anche frustrati da altrettante banalit\u00e0, sono di quelli che, oggi, una cantante cerca di evitare.Ma non in questo disco di rara bellezza.Un breve viaggio\u00a0 attraverso musiche che hanno segnato il tempo e alle quali i tre, uniti dal misterioso filo rosso dell\u2019emozione, restituiscono giovinezza.<\/p>\n

Elenora D \u2019Ettole meets the magic pianist Renato Sellani who is one of the best accompanist in the world. An endless elegance, supported by the great bassist Marco ricci. A short trip through some of the evocative American songs which have given unforgettable moments to the jazz scene.Grat poetry and grat music for this trio that plays permanently in Italy .<\/p>\n

Sellani is a highly gifted pianist who has managed to polish these gems of songs, sometimes taking the well-known melodies to the heights of true art. The whole disc is full of\u00a0 \u201csombras\u201d , vibrant shadows which seem to transcend earthly emotions and fly to the heavens.\u00a0 Eleonora\u2019s voice too seems to explore hidden depths in search of inner emotions, capturing subtle shades with a tenderness barely suggested by the lyrics but which is highlighted by the singing. The chosen repertoire is enough to frighten anyone.\u00a0 \u201cGod Bless the Child\u201d, \u201cMy Funny Valentine\u201d have been exalted by some historic recordings.
