Visions Trio: Bebo Ferra alle chitarre, Rosario Bonaccorso al contrabbasso e Fabrizio Sferra alla batteria. Il disco dal titolo “visions” contiene brani da loro scritti con l’eccezione di un omaggio a Nino Rota (“La Dolce Vita”). Un disco che vibra sin dalle prime note, riservando continui cambiamenti sia a livello sonoro che stilistico: dalla ballata americana country (che sembra rievocare le atmosfere “on the road “del classico coast to coast americano) a brani di struggente melodia e suggestiva espressività, passando per psichedelia e momenti bluesy. Un disco molto coraggioso dove i musicisti non hanno esitato a mettersi in gioco con un risultato sorprendente. Ogni singola interpretazione gode di una personale e singolare evoluzione continua. Insomma un disco da ascoltare e che riserva continue sorprese. Siamo al cospetto di tre fra i più grandi musicisti della scena musicale attuale italiana che hanno saputo fondere le loro straordinarie esperienze e doti in un disco che suona anche come “manifesto” del superbo ed originale jazz Made in Italy.
Visions Trio: Bebo Ferra on guitars, Rosario Bonaccorso on double bass and Fabrizio Sferra on drums. The disc entitled “visions” contains songs written by them with the exception of a tribute to Nino Rota (“La Dolce Vita”). A record that vibrates from the very first notes, reserving continuous changes both on a sound and stylistic level: from the American country ballad (which seems to evoke the “on the road” atmosphere of the classic American coast to coast) to songs of poignant melody, and suggestive expressiveness, passing through psychedelia and bluesy moments. A very courageous record where the musicians did not hesitate to get involved with a surprising result. Every single interpretation enjoys a personal and singular continuous evolution. In short, a record to listen to and which reserves continuous surprises. We are in the presence of three of the greatest musicians of the current Italian music scene who have been able to merge their extraordinary experiences and talents in a record that also sounds like a “manifesto” of the superb and original jazz Made in Italy.
