“Noi siamo come nani seduti sulle spalle dei giganti. Vediamo quindi un numero di cose maggiore degli antichi e più lontane. E non già perché la nostra vista sia più acuta, bensì perché essi ci sostengono e ci innalzano di tutta la loro gigantesca altezza”.
Così l’abate Bernardo di Chartres definiva i suoi contemporanei rispetto alla tradizione culturale che li aveva preceduti. Questo medesimo atteggiamento è quello che ispira il nuovo lavoro del trio: un disco doppio in cui gli standards rivivono irrorati di nuova linfa, rigenerati, in un certo senso, dal filtro dell’improvvisatore contemporaneo, mentre le composizioni originali si poggiano sulle solide basi della tradizione della canzone del Novecento, ma se ne allontanano in un continuo gioco di richiamo e innovazione. T.R.E. una delle più interessanti realtà del panorama europeo degli ultimi anni. Una forte impronta personale in un linguaggio ampiamente storicizzato, modernità stilistica e grande interplay. Il precedente lavoro, “Viaggio” ABJZ063, è diventato un disco “cult” tra gli audiofili, Anche questo nuovo disco ha le medesime caratteristiche d’eccellenza sonora grazie alla straordinaria qualità della ripresa ed alla grande dote del trio che sa distribuire ed armonizzare i suoni con maestria unica.

Thus the Abbot Bernard of Chartres defined his contemporaries with respect to the cultural tradition that had preceded them. This same attitude is what inspires the new work of the trio: a double disc in which the standards are revived, sprinkled with new lymph, regenerated, in a certain sense, by the filter of the contemporary improviser, while the original compositions rest on the solid foundations of tradition of the twentieth century song, but they move away from it in a continuous game of appeal and innovation. T.R.E. (Tri Razional Eccentrico), one of the most interesting realities on the European scene in recent years. A strong personal imprint in a widely historicized language, stylistic modernity and great interplay. The previous work, “Viaggio” ABJZ063, has become a “cult” record among audiophiles. Also this new record has the same characteristics of sonic excellence thanks to the extraordinary quality of the recording and the great talent of the trio that knows how to distribute and harmonize the sounds with unique craftsmanship.
