“The New Day”, il nuovo progetto del pianista e compositore bitontino Alberto Iovene, è omaggio al concetto di rinascita e di superamento delle difficoltà, di qualunque natura esse siano.
Frutto di un sodalizio artistico fra Iovene e Daniele di Bonaventura, considerato uno dei più grandi bandoneonisti jazz a livello internazionale, e supportato magistralmente dalla ritmica costituita da Camillo Pace al contrabbasso e Mimmo Campanale alla batteria. Un viaggio che spazia fra vari stili musicali, partendo dal jazz, passando per il tango ed il latin jazz e approdando alle ballads. Un un turbinio di musica coinvolgente e ricca di pathos per un disco elegante, molto lirico, sapientemente arrangiato e di grande intensità espressiva.

The result of an artistic partnership between Iovene and Daniele di Bonaventura, considered one of the greatest jazz bandoneonists at an international level, and masterfully supported by the rhythmic section made up of Camillo Pace on double bass and Mimmo Campanale on drums. A journey ranging between various musical styles, starting from jazz, passing through tango and Latin jazz and arriving at ballads. A whirlwind of engaging music full of pathos for an elegant, very lyrical, expertly arranged and highly expressive record.
