Un repertorio che attinge a piene mani al songbooks americano. Le interpretazioni di Nives si basano sull’essenzialità delle linee melodiche e la varietà timbrica della sua voce si impone con notevole potenza espressiva, senso del ritmo e swing. Supportata da una ritmica d’eccezione del panorama americano composta da Richard Clements al pianoforte, Ari Roland al contrabbasso e Massimo Russino alla batteria, ne scaturisce un disco di grande piacevolezza, e scorrevolezza,  allo stesso tempo di classe ed eleganza.
