Con Finding Orpheus, sesto album in studio, Accordi Disaccordi firma un nuovo e importante capitolo del loro percorso artistico. Attivo dal 2012 e forte di oltre 1.500 concerti nei festival e nei teatri di tutto il mondo, tra cui Umbria Jazz, il Blue Note di Milano e importanti tournée internazionali in Europa, Stati Uniti e Australia, il gruppo continua a distinguersi per una cifra stilistica originale e in costante movimento.

In questo disco, la matrice originaria del jazz manouche incontra, in modo naturale sonorità cinematografiche e sfumature elettroniche. Ne nasce un sound che unisce strumenti acustici e moderni, guidato da una forte energia e da un grande affiatamento strumentale. A dare ulteriore spessore al progetto ci sono le collaborazioni d’eccezione con Fabrizio Bosso e Davide “Boosta” Dileo, ospiti di grande caratura che arricchiscono un lavoro capace di guardare al futuro, di sperimentare nuovi linguaggi e di raccontare, attraverso la musica, un’identità artistica matura e senza confini.

In Italy, a young guitarist is making waves well beyond the country’s borders. His name is Christian Mascetta, and it is increasingly being mentioned alongside some of the most important figures in Italian music.

Stefano Bollani invited him to join the project “Tutta Vita,” taking him to stages and theatres across Italy, while Matteo Mancuso has involved him in important collaborations and video productions. These experiences are part of the journey of a very young musician who has already developed a strong and distinctive artistic personality.

Eclectic, original and visionary, Mascetta moves through jazz without allowing himself to be confined by its boundaries, blending it with blues, fusion and psychedelic atmospheres. Astonishing technique, a strong sense of groove and a natural inclination towards improvisation are the defining elements of his playing.

But this album is born from the meeting of three distinct musical personalities.

Alongside Mascetta are Pietro Pancella, bassist and composer, winner of the Premio Marco Birro as Best Bassist-Composer, a musician with a strong identity and a particular sensitivity towards sonic exploration; and Marcello Di Leonardo, a highly experienced drummer who has collaborated with artists of the calibre of Enrico Rava, Stefano Di Battista and Rick Margitza.

Mascetta, Pancella and Di Leonardo come together in a project where experience and fresh energy meet on equal terms, through a repertoire of original compositions and reimagined jazz classics, reinvented through the distinctive musical language of the three musicians.

The result is contemporary, energetic and unpredictable jazz, built on interplay, groove and the freedom of improvisation. Tradition remains the starting point, but the journey constantly takes new directions, moving through jazz, fusion, blues and psychedelic influences.
