“Flying over the clouds” è il risultato di un lavoro capitanato dal Maestro Pino Jodice, il supporto compositivo ed esecutivo di brillanti artisti. La dimensione di grande organico, oggi sempre più rara, è magistralmente documentata da questa registrazione di superiore valore artistico. Una vera impresa di questi tempi, grazie anche al contributo di Mibact e Siae. Splendide composizioni, cura negli arrangiamenti, sound potente e suggestivo come solo un grande ensemble può regalare. Il tutto con la presenza del superospite Emanuele Cisi ai sax, uno dei più grandi interpreti dello strumento a livello internazionale e portacolori italiano nel mondo. Da non perdere!

The Verdi Jazz Orchestra (VJO) is one of the most significant Italian ensembles. To join this group, a selection is made to integrate the best Italian talents into the group, who then follow a study and improvement plan at the Giuseppe Verdi Conservatory in Milan

“Flying over the clouds” is the result of a work led by Maestro Pino Jodice, the compositional and executive support of brilliant artists. The dimension of a large group, increasingly rare today, is masterfully documented by this recording of superior artistic value. A true feat in these times, thanks also to the contribution of Mibact and Siae. Splendid compositions, care in the arrangements, powerful and evocative sound as only a large ensemble can give.
