T.R.E. – Tri Razional Eccentrico vinse nel 2005 il concorso “Padova Porsche Jazz Festival” nella categoria “Giovani”, suscitando un certo scalpore tra gli addetti ai lavori per la loro già matura cifra stilistica. Abeat Records ha creduto nelle doti non comuni del gruppo curando la pubblicazione dei primi due album: “Passaggi” (ABJZ037) nel 2005 e “Riflessi” (ABJZ043) nel 2006. “Passaggi” era un lavoro vicino alla forma “canzone” in quanto le composizioni e le improvvisazioni ne rispettavano i tradizionali parametri musicali, melodici e armonici. “Riflessi” si indirizzava invece verso la più completa libertà espressiva, l’improvvisazione totale e la composizione estemporanea. Si può dire che con questo ultimo disco, “Viaggio”, si sia cercato un percorso di sintesi tra i due lavori precedenti formulando composizioni più normalmente strutturate dalle quali si potesse “partire” spaziando sino a giungere a zone di libera improvvisazione seguendo un flusso di naturale abbandono. Come in un viaggio: si parte con mappe, guide, bussole e istruzioni ma poi per viaggiare davvero bisogna concedersi il lusso di perdersi per scoprire un nuovo mondo incantato. Le atmosfere notturne e quasi oniriche fanno da contraltare a quelle che si confermano essere le peculiarità del gruppo T.R.E.: una musica introspettiva, passionale, di eccezionale caratura artistica e colma di sopraffina sensibilità artistica. I tre protagonisti sono tra i migliori session men dell’ultima generazione .
T.R.E. – Tri Razional Eccentrico won the “Padova Porsche Jazz Festival” competition in the “Young” category in 2005, arousing a certain sensation among the experts for their already mature stylistic figure. Abeat Records believed in the uncommon talent of the group by taking care of the publication of the first two albums: “Passaggi” (ABJZ037) in 2005 and “Riflessi” (ABJZ043) in 2006. “Passaggi” was a work close to the “song” form as the compositions and improvisations respected the traditional musical, melodic and harmonic parameters. “Riflessi” instead aimed towards the most complete freedom of expression, total improvisation and impromptu composition. It can be said that with this latest album, “Viaggio”, a synthesis path was sought between the two previous works by formulating more normally structured compositions from which one could “start”, ranging up to reach areas of free improvisation following a flow of natural abandonment. Like in a journey: you start with maps, guides, compasses and instructions but then to really travel you have to allow yourself the luxury of getting lost to discover a new enchanted world. The nocturnal and almost dreamlike atmospheres confirm what are the peculiarities of T.R.E. : an introspective, passionate music of exceptional artistic caliber and full of superfine artistic sensitivity. The three protagonists are among the best session men of the last generation.
